What Bristol homeowners say
They stripped out our tired Edwardian bathroom and fitted a new one in just under two weeks. The price we agreed was the price we paid, and they hoovered up every day before they left.
Turned a cramped upstairs bathroom into a proper walk-in wet room. Tanking and tiling are spot on, no leaks, no damp patches six months on.
We needed a level-access shower for my mum. They understood exactly what was needed, fitted grab rails and a proper seat, and were patient explaining it all.
Squeezed a smart little ensuite out of a box room in our Redland semi. Clever use of the space and the tiling is immaculate.
Re-tiled a period bathroom in a Clifton flat. Careful, tidy work and they matched the layout to the room instead of just slapping tiles up.
Swapped the old bath for a walk-in shower in our little Southville terrace. Made the room feel twice the size. Straightforward from quote to finish.
Leaking shower and cracked tiles sorted in a morning. Honest about what needed doing and what didn't, which I appreciated.
Second bathroom fitted in our family home. Same team throughout, one point of contact, and they worked to the timeline they gave us.
Tiny BS3 bathroom completely reworked. They planned every inch and it still feels roomy. No mess left behind either.
Blocked drain and a dodgy tap fixed same week. Turned up when they said, clean job, fair price.
A proper job in a tricky period flat. They dealt with awkward floor levels and the drainage fall without any drama. Delighted with it.
We manage a few rentals and use them for changeovers. Reliable, tidy and they turn a bathroom around fast between tenants.

The service
Shower rooms and ensuites that fit the space
An ensuite or a second shower room is usually a puzzle of small spaces. A box room, the corner of a large bedroom, the dead space under a loft slope: the job is fitting a proper, usable room into an area that was never meant to be one. That is where 35 years of Bristol homes pays off, because we have squeezed a working shower room out of most awkward corners the city has.
The two things that decide an ensuite are drainage and the layout. We work out where the waste can run before we promise you anything, then plan the room so the door, screen and basin all clear each other and it does not feel like a cupboard. The result is a second bathroom that takes the morning pressure off the main one.

Shower Rooms & Ensuites FAQs
Can I get an ensuite in a small box room?
Usually, yes. A box room is a common ensuite in Bristol terraces and semis. The limits are drainage and head height rather than floor area, and we check both before we quote so you know what will fit. A well-planned small ensuite works perfectly well.
Do I need planning permission for an ensuite?
Internal work like adding an ensuite normally does not need planning permission, though it does need to meet building regs for drainage, ventilation and electrics, which we handle. Listed buildings and some conservation-area work are the exception, and we will flag it if it applies to you.
How do you deal with ventilation in a small shower room?
A small, enclosed shower room needs proper extraction or it turns into a damp box. We size and fit an extractor that clears the moisture, which matters even more in Bristol where under-ventilated bathrooms and hard water bring mould on fast.
Can you install a shower room near me in Bristol?
We fit shower rooms and ensuites right across Bristol and the surrounding areas. Wherever you are, we can come and see whether the space and the drainage work for the room you have in mind.
How much does an ensuite cost to install?
Small ensuites are among the more affordable projects, though running new drainage or converting a loft space adds to it. We quote each one after seeing the space, and the written figure is fixed before any work starts.
